When the Greendale Glee Club is unexpectedly sidelined, the school's effervescent choir director Cory Radison sets about recruiting the study group members to fill in. Skeptical at first, they eventually fall under his hypnotic spell - one-by-one - singing and dancing their way to the annual Christmas Pageant.

Skipped through pretty much half of the show. Damn the singing sucks.
@Bonermaster
Syndication is when a show is sold to another network, for airing during other hours. Studios can make a lot of money off from it, so they like to let shows reach a certain point, so they can be sold. It is usually like 88 episodes, but it can be more or less depending on the show. Cable and premium channel shows have less episodes, so they don't use the same measuring stick.
So what does that all mean? Well, basically, if a show makes it to three seasons, it usually gets a forth. Once shows are sold, networks that buy them can freely show the repeats of them. They basically pay for the rights to air repeats.
Sometimes, a show signs a really good syndication deal and stays on the air because of how much profit they make off it. Lets say that Community comes back next year and does about what it is doing now, but someone pays a lot, per episode, to air repeats. NBC might be more inclined to pay for another season, knowing they have additional revenue coming back from it.
Now things are more complicated than just that, like how sometimes the studio that produces a show isn't owned by the network or things like that. That is just the basic version of how things work.
A good resource is TV By The Numbers.
@ColeFrost Ew hadnt heard about that, big bummer >.<
What does that syndication mean? Lets hope atleast a fourth season comes ^^
@Bonermaster
He may have just been talking about how it isn't on the Winter NBC schedule. They will certainly air all the remaining episodes, but there is no guarantee that it will get another season.
It is close to syndication levels and they could end it on a forth year of school, so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets picked up for one final season. The ratings are low, but it is in an impossible timeslot and most other shows wouldn't do better. Who knows, though.
@HansPB why wud this be the end of community?
My god annie is hot....
They even had the same piano guy from Glee :D Hilarious :)
Can't get enough of Baby Boomer Santa, that whole scene is just perfect. If this is the end of Community, which I don't think it is, they ended on a high note (no pun intended).
didn't like it. Hate the singing -_-'
well I think annie could even get me to join the glee club :p
