@Lordindo Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks that way, Mike.
@Artifex My thinking as well. Carl has some longer hair to show for it, Hershel has got a nice beard and they all have got some shooting practice. Overall I like the character progression between season two and now. Besides that I liked the singing part, it shows some relaxation and humanity between all the chaos around them.
Overall I don't understand the negativity I have read so far on this episode and the last season. Because if I read the comments, I think people expect 40 minutes of full on action times the amount of episodes in a season. And that is just plain wrong thinking, in my opinion.
@furbul Are you watching the same show as I am...? This is as realistic as it can get. May be you're forgetting the fact that these 'walkers' are dead people. Wounds on dead people don't look like wounds on the living, they kinda do look fake in a way. I think this show has excellent gore, I love it.
Great episode, awesome to see how much they all grew, both physical and mentally.
I loved 90% of the episode. However, pretty much all of the dialogue was terribly boring. It's the main reason why I stopped watching after season one: I don't like any of the actors except maybe one or two. I'm glad I watched this because of the positive feedback but if they can't keep up this level of intensity, I'm out again.
Ok, like everyone else here, I hope this episode isn't all they've got. Great start even despite the singing part and some lame dialogues.
better episode then season 2 combined, lets hope this isnt the only episode with some action
Holy mother of fuck!
I hope they didn't waste the entire gore effects budget on this first episode...
Too bad Lori is still a cunt.. :)
