Nolan and Irisa are Arkfall scavengers who travel through the world of 2046. Earth has been terraformed by an alien invasion fleet which was then forced to settle on Earth. Nolan and Irisa make their way to the town of Defiance and soon become involved with a feud between the two leading families, a feud that ends in murder.

I thought it was a pretty strong pilot, really enjoyed it! and considering the budget/scale of the show and the fact that is, in the end, a television show the cgi really isn't all THAT bad.

Wow, I am not disappointed! Lot's of action, great setting, very interesting, many races! People who turn it off because of bad CGI can, frankly, go fuck themselves.
predictable dialogues, flat characters...
I loved it, sure, we can complain about the CGI because it's not like the 100 million budget Hollywood movies, but to be quite honest, it wasn't bad at all.

watched first part of it. The CGI annoys me a lot so I turned it off. Definately not the quality i was hoping for.

I liked it! A solid pilot. CGI was laughable at certain points (cars are more difficult than spaceships and robots for some reason), but that was the only big flaw I could find. The setting is good, acting shows potential and I'm already in love with the soundtrack. McCreary has done it again.
