@gieltjegitaar OMG but you don't get it? It's all about that! It's all about the lovestory..! Carrie/Brody's Love can make the difference, especially in this moment. There are so many options: -he's a lier -he's telling the truth -what's gonna happen to Carrie -what she's gonna do..
@Fairiestale Nope, just didn't care for the Carrie-Brody lovestory which took up a huge chunk of the episode
@felixvdp true ; last episode was EPIC
I have mixed feelings about this as well. And, yes, this season wasn't good as the first one, but wasn't bad either. It had good episodes, good development, good writing-- can't complain, but... I think Brody/Carrie relationship ruined it a little bit. I can't understand how they love each other that much, purely and truly, after all they did to hurt one another in the first season. They didn't even builded a trust basis and their relationship jumped from "sex, tension and freedom" to "true and eternal love" too fast. Actually, I never really liked the idea of the two of them together. Just because this show is about them, it doesn't mean necessarily sexual and romantic involvement and, in this season finale case, it brought long minutes of love cliches and boring dialogues. I'm starting to think that love is the new resolution for every match.
Anyway... I have mixed feelings because I'm surprised. The episode was boring as hell with the love thing, then everything happened. But I felt really confused and I can't be sure if the attack is a nice way to make this show going on to the next season. Can't pretend it wasn't exciting, tho. And Estes is dead, so it IS a good thing, right?
I don't know what to think of this. In one hand it wasn't so bad, but I think it is a completely different show that it was on season 1. This season had too many ingredients of 24 and there comes my worries on how it will develope season 3.
@kakature I TOTALLY QUOTE!
@gieltjegitaar Boring? You watched a different show..
We were afraid of milking the cow in season 2 as well. But if you look back you've got to agree it was pretty good. Two bad episodes but the rest was swell. Also not as good as season 1 but that won't ever be topped.
Imo it makes no sense that someone could just move that car to the memorial service that close and get away with it. America is in war with a terrorist and they know that if you kill one you'll get 2 back. It's not like after killing Nazir they won't have security at the memorial. Just a small nitpick. I understand they need to keep the show going and I have mixed feelings about that. The first season was just perfect as a standalone, but I'm just scared it's going to be prisonbreak v2 and just milking the cow and become too much 24.
BEST SEASON FINALE EVER
