An angry resident of The Glades who calls himself “The Savior” embarks on a kidnapping and killing spree to punish those he believes have wronged the residents of his neighborhood. @IllumSphere Although I do think the morality of the show is definitely off, the difference between the Arrow and the other guy is that the Arrow's goal is to push people to repent over just killing them to 'send a message'. Arrow only kills when necessary. Now, I personally think the show deals with that kind of morality only when it suits the needs of a specific episode, so that's kind of a weak reason, but then Arrow does tend to be superficial and melodramatic (just look at episodes like 'Burned' or whichever episode it was where everybody's lovelife reaches a horrifically cheesy peak). That seems to currently be the nature of the show. It's a thing I can live with, but only because I hope the show's second season will work towards it being generally more satisfying.

I figured out what's bad about this series... the development arcs are introduced and concluded too quickly, for example in this episode - the whole, "I'm on an island, I need to disconnect from people" - that only started last episode!

The serie goes here badly wrong. Since when does a rich boy have more reasons to be the hero then someone who lost his wife to scum? I'm not saying that what the 'Judge, Jury, Executioner' guy did was good, but he had more valid motivations to do such things then Olliver. But that's the lack of this serie; all of those white knights are hypocrites who have no reasons at all to save the world. Quite annoying.
