Elena and Rebekah take off in search of Katherine and find themselves in a small town in Pennsylvania, where Elena has a surprising encounter with another old acquaintance -- Elijah. Stefan and Damon are both concerned about Elena’s state of mind and are determined to do what’s best for her, but she makes it clear that helping her will be difficult. Damon is not sure how to react when Stefan reveals his unexpected plan for the future. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Klaus receives Caroline’s reluctant help and comes to a new understanding of Silas’ powers.

So yeah... kill me for my opinions xD Though, I think if Julie had maybe a longer break from the show she could pull out sth more from this teen drama (I like teen dramas, don't get me wrong... watching while cooking or tidying, don't have to think more about it). Sth that feels deeply thought and structured ... not like we have... New season, new thing that noone ever thought, knew or even mention about, and new villain, that is like no other, powerful and cannot be killed (just year before they thought the same about someone else, and year before, and year before that)
I stopped watching TVD in the beginning of this season. I always wanted Delena but even before it happened and this "bond" and cure out of the blue I found the series waay too ... 'without sense' .
Now I wanted to give Julie Plec another chance - with The Originals. Therefore, I have to finish 4th season of TVD -.- But getting to the point... This episode was one of the really small amount (like I could count them on one hand) of good episodes.
Without Matt and Jeremy - who are still in the show for i don't know why. Without Bonnie... she's neutral bc she just follows somebody's mind and that's pretty much it -.- Pfff...
Caroline for the first time didn't get on my nerves and I didn't skipped the scenes with her ! xD One step on high stairs to be worth/equal to Klaus.
Elijah and Kath back <3 And together ? *.* Love it!
Defan <3 And new Elena is a lot more sth and an episode when Elena is not crying or saying that she's responsible for everything that's bad - has to be a good episode :P
