With the Undertaking days away, Malcolm dons his black hood to conclude business with seismologist Dr. Brion Markov and his team. Oliver and Moira entertain a number of surprise - and mostly unwelcome - visitors. Hooded confrontations at home and the Merlyn Global Group reveal dark secrets. Meanwhile, Roy and Thea are still looking out for a hero. Laurel makes a decision after Tommy's revelation. In a flashback to the island, Oliver, Slade and Shado struggle to prevent Fyers from shooting a Ferris Air jet out of the sky.

Did find this episode as annoying as others, due to the fact there was some actual story progression. Interested to see what happens in the final episode now... going to put a pot of tea on, sit back and watch the ridiculousness! :)
Sure, one of the major arcs is pretty similar to Spiderman, but that shouldn't really be surprising. I mean there are literally thousands of stories that follow a very similar story arc. Certain types of stories are going to be retold over and over again, doesn't make them bad. And besides [SPOILER (but not for anyone with even a cursory understanding of the Green Arrow universe)] Laurel should end up being way more awesome than Mary Jane because Mary Jane never became a super hero like Laurel will.
Overall I'm pleased with the series. I was worried it might be too CWey, but that hasn't poisoned it too much.

I loved this episode! Very Very good! And like mentioned before it is based on a comic so you should not be suprised of any ridiculous things happening.. It is a superhero story ;p they do superhero stuff

SHOW SPOILER 1: Very, very coincidental that Tommy just happened to be there when Oliver and Laurel decided TO HAVE SEX IN FRONT OF THE FUCKING WINDOW.
2: Surprised when Merlyn said: 'Oh no' when he realized Oliver was the Arrow. Not as cold-hearted as I thought!

Yeah and I also don't think it's possible to trace a hacker to his real identity, like that guy whom works for Lance figured out it was Felicity who did it. Sure they can get an idea wherefrom it was hacked or by what organisation, but tracing it back right to Feliciy is quite absurd.

don't forget it is based on a comic, almost everything "the hood" does is quite questionable in reality :p
