Jaime & Brienne, still a better lovestory than Twilight...

@Malchick But his appearance was exactly the same as the one who died in the previous season. The other walkers we've seen have had very distinct individual features.

@gieltjegitaar I don't think he is the only white walker around

Ugh, what a boring episode. Probably in my top 3 of boring GoT episodes.

Together with Two Swords the least boring episode from season 4, I still haven't give away a 5 this season...but I liked dialogue and the ending in this one...I don't care that I was spoiled for Winds Of Winter :p

Jaime had such great character development in season 3 (and the books ) and though it seems now that they are continuing with that, the horribly out of character rape scene was detrimental to his character, as well as cersei's and my overall opinion of this show's tone.

@CHR1S Nah, i didn't mean that as overall tragic superhero. Just this episode. And being morally ambiguous is the best thing about him in the books imho. But there are also things portrayed as being no-go for him. And rape is definitely one of them (Brienne? his hand?). And I'd argue hurting Cersei is another. I just meant, in this instance: last episode he does something unforgivable (for me)- not just rape but with Cersei?? And this episode he looks like the most just and compassionate guy in King's Landing.(the dialog has even been changed for him to sound sweeter) This is what created this dissonance for me. There wasn't enough time between "he's a monster!!!" and "oh wow, he really bonded with Brienne and really cares for her and even wants to help the squire(who he doesn't even know or care for)"etc. </long post>

@cathwaitress Jaime has always been a morally ambiguous character. He found the path of redemption when he rescued Brienne, but a character doesn't develop from point A to B in a straight line. He's still the man who pushed Bran out a window. So I respectfully disagree that they're painting him a picture as a tragic superhero or the last righteous man.
