When Grandmama Bear calls in sick, Baby Bear and Curly Bear need a new baby-sitter on Sesame Street! Papa Bear asks Gabi to fill in, and she agrees! Though Curly Bear seems excited to have Gabi as a sitter, Baby Bear insists that Curly is nervous to have someone other than Grandmama Bear as a baby-sitter.
When Gabi arrives, Baby Bear explains that she must follow Grandmama Bear's baby-sitting protocol. First she has to make porridge-raisin cookies, then sing golden oldie bear songs, and finally play bear games. But Gabi Doesn't know how to do any of these things.
