Scrooge fires Launchpad after he crashes another McDuck plane, to prove to Scrooge that he is a good pilot he decides to be a astronaut, not knowing that NASA are actually looking for the worlds dumbest astronaut to send into space. Between him and a chimp Launchpad proves to be the dumbest pilot. Launchpad bords the wrong spaceship and ends up at Mars, where he accidentally starts a war between Mars and Earth.
