While continuing to tick things off from their married couple bucket-list, Jade and Alfie celebrate becoming ‘grandparents’ when Barry the Bearded Dragon lays eggs! (Yeah, turns out Barry is female… that whole beard thing must’ve got them confused.) They plan a Golden wedding anniversary party, but Jade takes a turn for the worse and ends up in hospital.
Alfie is over the moon when he gets a letter confirming that they did discover a new comet and he races to see Jade. As Sonia and the Osbornes prepare for the worst, Jade and Alfie use their imaginations to go to Southport where they spend the day riding carousels and snuggling up on the beach, but when Alfie wakes from the day-dream, Jade has passed away peacefully.
