Als Jani droomt van carnaval, denkt hij aan Rio De Janeiro. Feest vieren in het zonnetje, prachtige ontblote lichamen en samba! Helaas... Waarom de oceaan oversteken als het ook dichter bij huis kan? In Aalst heeft UNESCO de dolle driedaagse uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed, dus trekt Jani naar Oost-Vlaanderen om dit fenomeen van dichterbij te bestuderen.
