Tristan moet weken in een isolatiekamer blijven, waar hij een stamceltransplantatie ondergaat. Hij zakt diep weg en sluit zich ook mentaal helemaal af van zijn omgeving. Zijn vrienden en familie laten hem evenwel niet in de steek, maar net diegene die hij het liefste ziet, blijft hij koppig afstoten. Uiteindelijk zal Tristan zelf moeten beslissen waarvoor hij wil vechten.
