숙명적으로 앞만 보고 달려 나가는 육상계 간판스타 선겸은 동료들과 영화제를 즐기던 중 우연히 마주친 미주를 도와준다. 관성적으로 뒤를 돌아봐야 하는 외화 번역가 미주는 술자리에서 진상을 부리는 옛 은사에게 들이받았다가 통역 아르바이트를 떠안는다. 선겸은 미팅을 가던 중 봉변을 당한 미주를 다시 한 번 돕게 된다. 우연히 계속되는 두 사람, 과연 운명일까...?
