서로에게 날을 세운 철종과 병인. 병인은 소용에게 칼을 겨눴던 남자가 영평군이 아닌 철종이었다는 사실을 깨닫고 분개하는데... 철종이 준비한 연회를 망치기 위한 김좌근의 움직임이 시작되고, 철종은 상황을 해결하기 위해 애쓴다. 우연히 이러한 상황을 알게 된 소용은 모른 척 하려고 하지만, 어쩐지 현대에서 봉환이 겪었던 상황과 겹쳐지며 계속해서 신경이 쓰이는데... 과연 철종은 연회를 무사히 마칠 수 있을까?
