Miaka, Nuriko, and Tasuki are having a good time at the festival, while Tamahome still thinks about what Miaka has said to him. When Miaka finally has a discussion with Tamahome, she explains herself, making Tamahome feel happy again. The trip has just about come, and Tamahome is off to bring some of his family with him.
