生まれて初めて外の世界に降り立ったパーシバルは、不思議なキツネの後を追う中で、大道芸人のカッツ、エルバ、そしてドニーと出会う。魔法のような不思議な力を使う彼らに、イロンシッドを捜していることを打ち明けるパーシバル。情報を得るために村に向かおうとするパーシバルたちの元に、なぜか慌てた様子の村人がやってきて――
