ゴウセルやドルチョモンテたちと別れを告げたパーシバル一行は、アーサーが放った追手を気に掛けながらダルフレア山脈を進む。やがてパーシバルたちの前に現れる、巨大な樹木が絡み合う鬱蒼とした森。シンは、すでに間近に迫っている追手をこの森で迎え撃とうと提案する。
