Kiyo realizes that Zofis was implanting illusions of petrification for the thousand-year Mamodos and informs Laila. He tells her the moonstone is also a tool used by Zofis to psychologically control the Mamodos and is used with Zofis' mind-control ability. Laila attempts to leave the moonlight, but she finds her hand turning to stone. She admits she knows it's an illusion and leaves the moonlight.
