Kaoru was given the water and she started to recover, Kenshin and Jinpu left to Nikko to beat the Ryu Myaku before it was too late. Sanosuke and his friend went looking around for clues, finally they got possession of a book that gave many useful clues. It was hard to understand so Sanosuke and his friend went to find the author and he explained everything. Kenshin and Jinpu got to Nikko and the crest was gone, clues and hints were being pieced together and the water clan's plans started to become clearer. Sanosuke found Kenshin and Jinpu and explained everything, the Ryu Myaku would change direction so they went to Senjo Gahara.
