Rose's nanny being sick, Ted brings her to the office, refusing to put her in Veridian's daycare center she is being watched after by different Veridian's employees. Veridian is developing WMD, however rose made Phil and Lem question their relationship and its hierarchal structure which hinders the proper completion of the project. Meanwhile, a series of false alarms occurs at Veridian. Linda's ex-boyfriend is back from Paris and wants to get back together with her, this leads Ted to reconsider his one office affair rule. Veronica discovers Rose's value and teaches her how to be a woman in a man's world.
