Vincent Weemaes, Nick's first police partner, goes missing after the reconstruction IA commissioner Bourlon organized of how Weemaes shot at escaped serial 'Armani gang' jewelry shop robber Johnny Heylens but fatally hit a girl. Weemaes didn't report his earlier meeting with Vincent's recently paroled crime parter Didier Renard. Johny's corps is found, shot in the gut.
