@nelltrent I don't feel the urge to prove myself, especially not online. I don't think that you can judge whether I am clever or not by having read 1 sentence I have typed plus the word 'okay', I personally think this says something about you rather than me.
I don't have a clue as to why I posted that here, guess I felt the urge to do so a year ago.
P&P might be a masterpiece, I know it is received well in general, but this does not mean that the story fits to everyone's interest.
Also, I like reading, but I couldn't get into the style this book is written in, which made it a tough one for me to read, it took me ages, which is why I chose to watch the series, to save time. Apart from this reason, it is an easier way to study for people who have a visual or audiolingual learning style rather than a linguistic one.
