He picks tabloid journalist - Howard Thomas, ocean resource engineer - Emily Patterson, scientist/adventurer - Bruce Gellar and psychic - Stan Latham. They join forces together as Benirall promises them unlimited funding for their projects and the chance for a once in a lifetime experience.

A jetliner disappears over the Bermuda Triangle and then bizarre things start happening to each member of the team in their private and public lives. Then the government takes an interest in their work, and the research expedition that was a promise of riches soon turns into an effort to survive.
