The series revolves around the lives of a group of friends whose little group will be rocked when the couple that brought them together, Alex and Dave, break up. This leaves the rest of the group (Max, Brad, Jane and Penny) in an awkward position of either trying to stay together as friends or having to choose sides.
Alex and Dave decide to stay friends, but there are many more complications down the road. Such as single friend Penny's long-suppressed feelings for Dave and their openly gay friend Max worries the breakup will traumatize him more than his parent's divorce. Meanwhile, Alex's sister, Jane and her husband Brad, a suburban couple desperately trying to start a family are now so shocked by what happened, they are having trouble concentrating on their plans of trying to conceive their first child.

@b0sse yeah, i was watching live that night. they showed the first one, but for some reason didn't show the second, it was some other sitcom i didn't know. i thought it was going to be pre-empted by news of what was happening, but nope. it was weird...
The last couple of weeks it's been airing 2 episodes at a time, but for some reason that stopped this week, and only 3x20 aired and not 3x21 as well as stated here on this site.
While shows on Friday's need significantly less viewership to get renewed, ABC is moving this to Friday and airing two episodes like tvdluis said. It can go either way, but it's leaning toward being cancelled. Hopefully ABC wakes up and keeps it for one more season, even if it's just a 13 episode order. The last few episodes have been the funniest and best of them all.

Don't Trust the Bitch in A23 is now cancelled. They're going to burn the series with doble episodes. Let's hope Sony push the channel for a renewal.
hey guys, just to let you know, ABC (thanks to the cancellation of 666 Park Avenue) is airing this show, as well as Don't Trust the Bitch in A23 on both Sundays and Tuesdays now.
@Elrondp nope.
Best comedy series with The League at the moment.
Returning series? Wasn't it cancelled after the second season?
@Nesfita la primera temporada por razones que aún se desconocen, la emitieron desordenada. Si te bajas los capítulos, el orden en el que habría que verlos, es el que puse abajo.
@ArthasSama einch??
The correct order for the first season is: 1, 10, 11, 7, 2, 13, 6, 4, 3, 9, 8, 5, 12.
ABC Renews Happy Endings (goo.gl/vWPTh)
@Nielsism ABC broadcasted first season's episodes in the wrong order. Nobody knows why.
I like it so far, but I don't really get the order of the episodes... Ep 10 to 12 are like the ones who should be right after the pilot, but come at the end of the season. But still, enjoyable show :)
Megan Mullally is close to signing on for an arc:

I don't think this was supposed to get picked up. How late they released it is my first clue The second was that they were only planning to do single episodes each week, which would have left a few unaired. The third and possibly biggest clue has to be that two of the cast members are signed on to other show shows right now, Damon Wayans Jr. in New Girl and Adam Pally on Best Friends Forever.
Looks like this exceeded expectations. Damon and Adam will probably have their new roles recast, they are likely contractually obligated to the show.
