From executive producer Steven Spielberg, Falling Skies stars Noah Wyle as a former college professor who becomes the leader of a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force.
Moon Bloodgood co-stars as Anne Glass, a therapist who works with the surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic situation. The series also stars Drew Roy as Hal and Maxim Knight as Matt, Tom's two sons; and Seychelle Gabriel as Lourdes, an orphaned teenager who helps run the group's commissary.

@oranges
Oh wow, I seem to have watched something completely different.
It had a few glimpses of interesting things, but overall I was falling asleep.
I loved Jericho as well and imo Falling Skies can't hold a candle to it.
@josbeir I think it was great.
@ColeFrost I like your comparisons with other shows. If you considered The Walking Dead to be a benchmark, then I think this is the new benchmark. As much as we can know from 2 episodes, at least.
Within the first minutes, I had forgotten I was watching TV (as you should) and was well drawn in.
At the least, I think this tops Jericho. I loved Jericho. So far it's genuinely great.
Anyone worried this might be V has no need to worry.
@Lemon i ment band of brothers :)
Awaiting comments.... i need to wait 9 hours before i can see it :(
Rss feed configured, will drop comments in 20 hours
@Lemon I am awaiting your judgement ;)
@Lemon
I think he meant Band of Brothers.
Spielberg is only producing and it will be on a cable budget, so my hopes will be low. I think it could be alright. Jericho tried, but The Walking Dead was what made post-apocalyptic cool for tv. Hopefully, it is good.
@Lemon Let me know if it's good, so I know whether or not to waste my bandwith on it :p
Excited here too. I think it'll be good :D
@josbeir Isn't Saving Private Ryan a movie?
@kakature not so sure of that, most Spielberg produced shows are quite good (taken, saving private ryan, ...).
