Following a painful breakup with his girlfriend, a struggling thirtysomething writer (Jason Schwartzman) with a drinking problem in Brooklyn decides to emulate his heroes from the novels of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. He takes out an ad pretending to be a private detective and starts taking cases -- solving some and making others worse.

He podido ver la primera temporada y no me ha gustado mucho. No me han interesado ninguna de las tramas de detective privado de cada capítulo. Aún así, algunas de las apariciones de Galifianakis o Ted Danson si que tenían gracia.
Quizá no sea mi estilo de serie. Algo parecido me ha pasado con Enlightned, también de la HBO, que no me ha hecho mucha gracia. Será cosa mía.

Jason Schwartzman is very well casted here :). LOVE the show, love the jingle.
