Scott was just a regular guy until one bite changed his life forever.
Now he struggles to understand who he is and what he might become. Is he more wolf than human - or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, it's not going to be easy. Scott will try to control his urges, but mostly he's scared that it's his urges that could end up controlling him.
TEEN WOLF is the story of Scott as he tries to walk the line between what he wants and what he can't help from wanting. Will the bite end up being a gift? Or will it be a curse? And what will it all mean for his relationship with Allison - the girl he can't get enough of? Only time will tell if he should embrace his newfound powers, or if he should fear them.

Suprised me, but somewhere in the middle of season 2 the show actually became pretty good.. Hate the acting skills of 'Scott' though, love Stiles :)
I watch for the plot, obviously!
Didn't expect much of this series. But it grabbed my attention and I pretty much watched both seasons in a couple of days. It's not the best one. The story is predictable and one of those typical high school drama's. But it's a fun show, lots of suspense, and enough humor as well (I just love Stiles' sarcasm).
If you got time left, and you don't want to use your brain: watch Teen wolf!

@GloryisBen Actually, I'm going to have to say that I prefer Teen Wolf over TVD at the moment. The second season especially has been ridiculously good.
In comparing this to TVD, I feel like this show makes a lot more sense. Like, the humans actually respond to crazy stuff going on around town, and characters are actually flunking class because they're out on adventure all the time. Also, I think Teen Wolf has excellent pace, probably because of the 12 episode seasons. Teen Wolf is a borderline experimental acid trip nightmare that just so happens to have some of the funniest dialogue and attractive castmembers on television.

@killmotion Perfect reply, thank you! I also think that Vampire Diaries isn't a silly teen show; I look forward to it every week. I think I will put Teen Wolf on the back burner for now.
@GloryisBen It's like a C- where TVD is an A. Honestly people gripe about TVD being a silly teen show but in my opinion it has amazing pacing and plot development and that is what Teen Wolf lacks. It's entertaining enough for me to watch but don't have it high on your list if other things pique your interest more. The stuff is a bit predictable and there's lots of schmoop and cheese.
How does this show compare to the Vampire Diaries, in terms of scope, mythology, course of story lines, characters, etc?

indeed. didn't expect much but its getting close too the vampire diaries. nice entertainment to watch. however its most of the time very predicatble.
