Human Target (2010)

Human Target (2010)

If you don't know who to trust, trust him. It takes a brave, selfless man to make himself a “human target” in order to save the lives of those in danger. Based on the popular DC Comics graphic novel, Human Target is a full-throttle action drama centered on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley, Boston Legal, Fringe), a unique private contractor/security guard hired to protect. Call him what you like, because for Chance, it’s about one thing only: saving his clients’ lives. When there is an unusual or imminent threat that can’t be solved through “normal” means of protection, Chance is hired to completely integrate himself into his clients’ lives – to become the human target. If you’re a corporate manager whose disgruntled employee has gone violently off the deep end, Chance is your new auditor. If you’re the president of a bank who’s been tipped off to a potential heist, Chance is your unassuming bank teller. During each job, Chance, assisted by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride, Boston Public, Pushing Daisies) and hired gun Gurrero (Jackie Earle Haley, Watchmen), puts himself directly in the line of fire as he races against time to save his client, while unraveling the truth behind the mission. With every new danger, Chance’s dark history will also unravel. Does anyone know who Christopher Chance really is, or what secrets lay buried in his past? What would make a man willingly become a Human Target?

@ColeFrost Thanks Cole.
It didn't have much hope for sure. I'm actually relieved that Matt Miller can't piss on it any more.

Season 1 had lots of great bits and as was the intention, every episode was an action movie.

Season 2 from what I've seen so far, is.. so bad.

Matt miller took over as showrunner and changed the awesome intro to something beyond bad. He also changed the sort of music we hear in every episode, to his own -unique- taste. He threw out all the work of last season and the best bit of the show in 5 minutes of his first episode.
He added two terrible, worthless and annoying characters and dramatically changed not only the entire dynamic, but the core of two (3?) of the three main characters for the worse. All humour, charm, entertainment and sanity has been stripped in season 2, imho.

I think Season 1 makes this worthy of a reccommend, but season 2 only makes me angry. As much as you want the finale to be expanded on, it never is; Skip Season 2.
