Inderdaad!
Entourage is a beast!
@ThibaultDC I want it to be special :')
Nog 1 aflevering man. Durf je niet? :')
@Valcke Entourage heerst!
Dude!! entourage!
@StevieG Same here, sounds great! Thanks :)
@ThibaultDC Pilot is very promising! Also based on real people who lived in the days when prohibition hits the usa. Love those series who can really drag you in a different time by the scenery and other small details.
Thoughts on Boardwalk Empire Pilot?
@Valcke Very much! Relaxing to watch when tired ;)
Liked first episode from Entourage?
Glad to see you finally started watching The Wire ;).
Six Feet Under is confusing anyway. The format does change after the first episode, but not too much. They tweaked a few things to speed up the show.
I think most people that watch it end up liking it a lot. It is really a unique experience.
Good luck on all the shows. I've got a full Summer schedule of randomness, leftovers, and currently airings, myself. I'll be taking the spread-fire approach right beside you. :)
@ColeFrost Thank you TV-mentor ;-)
Having a blast with all the discovered shows.
Six Feet Under how-ever is a bit confusing with David. I keep seeing " Dexter " and it doesn't help he can see his dead father too.
Anyhow, keep posting and i'll just follow =)
The spread-fire viewing approach... I've never been more proud to read a watched list. Sniff, I'm not crying. :P
Great selections, should keep you entertained for quite a while.
@ColeFrost Wow, thanks for the tips. @ThibaultDC Told me to watch The Wire over and over but i seem never to be able to get it started. Knowing it is one you have to watch throughly. I am def watching Rome and Bordwalk Empire. I am so into historical series. Doesn't matter which age or if it is (half)-made up or not. So much serieus... not enough time. Shows always come out way too late in Belgium or they even mix up seasons. Unbelievable...
Yeah... In America, HBO has many of the best shows of all time. I don't have a clue how it works in Belgium. I see you watched Oz, which was a great one that came out earlier than most of the other hits. Here are some other dramas to think about:
The Wire - The description on here, alone, is enough. Considered the best HBO show ever.
Rome - By the team that is doing Game of Thrones, this was a fast paced, well acted, very violent look at ancient Rome.
Six Feet Under - By the same Oscar winning writer of American Beauty, who also went on to do True Blood. Slow paced, but maybe the best put together show and storyline you will ever see.
Boardwalk Empire - This just started, but is worth a mention. It is paced about the same as Deadwood, but instead of being a western, it is set in the 1920s, America.
