I suppose I could write up all my complaints but my two biggest ones are
1. The decision to not have some sort of disguise or mask was incredibly stupid. It made all the fights look super cheap and lazy all because they couldn't use a stunt double and had to cut a thousand times when they did. And despite training for 15 years in martial arts, Danny kinda sucks at actually fighting.
2. I know there's controversy over the race of Danny Rand but I honestly don't care what race he is, I just think Finn Jones was bad casting. He's just not convincing in really any aspect for this show. I'm hoping with a different writer I'll grow to like him in the Defenders but idk.
