It's been an exciting few months at followmy.tv! Our new support system has been a huge success, helping us respond to your feedback and improve the site faster than ever. I wanted to share some updates about what we've been working on and our plans for the future.

Recent Improvements

We've made significant progress on multiple fronts:

• Improved Show Discovery: Our show discovery pages now run on the new internal API, making browsing top shows and curated lists noticeably faster
• Enhanced Image System: We've launched a brand new image management system with high DPI support, improving the visual experience while giving our editorial staff better tools
• Backend Optimizations: We've implemented numerous query optimizations behind the scenes, resulting in better overall site speed and stability
• Better Language Support: Our importer now handles multiple languages more effectively, defaulting to English while preserving native language information where appropriate
• Major Data Cleanup: We've cleaned up about 25,000 broken show and episode entries, ensuring our database stays clean and reliable
• Improved Editor Tools: Our staff now have better tools to maintain show data quality

Automatic Show Creation

I'm particularly excited to announce that we now automatically create entries for shows premiering in the next 6 months! This means you no longer need to manually request new shows to be added – they'll already be there waiting for you on our upcoming pilots page. This makes it easier than ever to discover and track new shows before they air.

Vision for 2025

We have ambitious plans for the coming year:

• Re-open our signup page to allow new users to join
• Improve support for show specials with better importing and tracking
• Introduce "Lists" - a new feature that lets you organize your show library with custom categories (think of it as "pinned shows on steroids")
• Complete a comprehensive UI/UX refresh of the web app
• Launch our first mobile apps for both Android and iOS
• Implement an AI assistant for personalized show recommendations based on your watch history

Community Milestones

As followmy.tv celebrates its 15th year, I'm continually amazed by our community's dedication. The site wouldn't be what it is today without the tireless efforts of our moderation team, especially Fish and ForgotMyLines, who ensure our show data stays accurate and up-to-date.
