I find it odd that the distance between Glen and the zombie in the well didn't seem to increase while the people pulling the cord were succeeding in this act.
Then again, the entire scene was ruined from the moment that thing in the ground broke down. It happens all the time, I saw everything happening before it had started.
I hope the script writers burn in hell!
