De 55-jarige Odette Willekens is na een zwaar ongeval van haar echtgenoot Marcel in financiële en sociale problemen geraakt. Het koppel woont in een sociaal woonblok in Antwerpen. Om haar eenzaamheid en haar miserie te vergeten, vlucht Odette via haar pc naar een virtuele wereld. Odette creëert RED SONJA. Ze maakt zich klaar voor een chatsessie, maar een verloren zakdoek, stinkende vuilzakken en haar wasmachine gooien roet in het eten.
