Ryan comes to grips that he doesn't have Janie (Christine Woods) around to cook or shop for him anymore. The group discovers that Lauren caves under pressure when taking tests and decides to help her study for her real estate certification exam. Meanwhile, Steven has broken up with his girlfriend and enlists Ryan to be his wingman to go out on the town.

Good episode. The 'ghost' bit didn't bother me at all.
@Zelos Seriously? I'm not just talking about ghosts, but just characters imagining someone is there with them. Really don't like that. And I'm not only referring to tv shows. Ghost Town, the crapfest Over Her Dead Body, High Spirits, HIMYM, 30 Rock,... And unexpected? It's right there in the episode title.
@TomF Um..are you serious? I've seen most major American comedies and I don't see how this is overdone or unoriginal in the slightest. If anything, it surprised me with how unexpected it was.
@TomF Meh, it wasn't overdone here. And even if it was, the end scene would probably redeem the episode anyway.
