On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Lovely episode, really nice how they made the finale about SHOW SPOILER getting some good things happened to almost everyone (Caroline, Matt & Rebekah, Jeremy, Elena vs. Katherine). It was enlightening to see the characters happy for one time. Loved it how the cliffhanger was all about Stefan and Silas. I'm looking forward to see how Paul Wesley manages his new role ;)

Seriously, round christmas I was beginning to regret I ever watched the show but now -- whee!!!
Not really looking forward to another season of umm . . no spoilers but you know what I mean.
Yeah -- kinda wish this new set-up could have dropped the stakes a bit (no pun meant), but meh, I hoped the same thing about EVERY show in the past, say, 5 years or so when bigger and bigger kinda got started (I blame Supernatural and Smallville for that, though I don't pay close enough attention to know with any certainty).
Anywho -- still, brilliant finalle and a great possible set-up. Quite a bit going on, a very clear cliff-hanger, and yet this season was wrapped up in a neat little bow.
