Dr. Abel Gideon escapes from custody, and begins to target his past psychiatrists. Each victim is given the dreaded "Colombian Necktie." Dr. Gideon is able to abduct Dr. Chilton, and forces Freddie Lounds to write stories about him for her tabloid website. Will works to catch Gideon, but experiences hallucinations due to his illness. Hannibal is all too willing to take advantage of this, manipulating Will into being alone in the same room with Gideon.
