Best Dexter episode ever!
said no one.
Pathetic. That bond with Voguel has no sense, and the "therapy" with Dexter and Debra was ridiculous.
Quin's storyline is just boring. As the neighbour thing, what are they trying? Hanna was much better.
And WTF with changing Harrison's actors, I hate the new kid, he hasn't their disturbed face.
That Vogel session at the beggining was pretty awkward. Also ending. Wondering what's will going on in next episodes.
This season hasn't been great so far, but as it's one of my favourite shows I'm going to stick with it.
Contrary to most on here I didn't think it was boring, and I again enjoyed Debra and Dexter's dynamics again. I found the therapy session between them oddly amusing and liked how they worked together through the episode.
I didn't expect the title to connote what it did at all, but was glad when it came up in the tense seen with Vogul. I'm interested in this season's killer, perhaps because he isn't as objectively dramatic as someone such as doomsday.
And back to her- the scene where she is treating the killer as a son to her sparked my attention immensely as it was so alike her speaking with Dexter earlier in the season. Both of the killers in this situation have issues with a loss of a mother and she plays on that to get their affections. I'm not sure if he realized here, as he already knows that he is a patient to her, but it was very interesting.
The ending was fantastic and made up for any boring parts along the way. 4 stars from me.
@kakature, thank you! Overrated is an understatement. I only remember this show having two really good seasons, 1 and 4. The other ones have so many problems like 2 and 5, and 3, 6 and 7 are just shitty. This final season is a disappointment so far. I don't know what I was expecting, tho... the last two seasons were just terrible.
Boring episode but with a kind of cool ending although Dexter went out of character their with impaling that surgeon...so *** stars from me.
its very clear matsuka and his daughter will put dexter in jail... i dont recognize this show :s
@BertDenolf Maybe some people have seen the light and started realizing this show is pretty overrated :p
I don't get why everybody's so negative about this season, it's already better than the previous one. Okay this season is the last one of this show and it still isn't clear yet where this is going to but there are still 7 episodes to come. It's normal to do some build-up towards the finale with other storylines, you can't expect to have 13 episodes in a row to work up to one climax, in every season of Dexter it was like this, and you guys loved it, so why complain now?
2.5 ...it's going up...but that is still very low :( uch what's happening? This season doesn't feel final to me...the story itself is quite okay but for a 4th or 5th season but for a final season it is weak...and the acting is also kind of terrible this year...Vogel, Dex, Debra & dare I say it Quinn/Angel are okay this year but the rest is awful...
