Argh. I swear to God, the way (white) writer's write black characters into shows is so damn frustrating, and I'm speaking specifically to this idea that all black people apparently don't want to talk to cops. What the fuck? Yes, in certain, predominately black neighbourhoods, the cops are bad and they don't really care, but to think that black people still wouldn't want help when the situation clearly calls for it is a disturbing stereotype, and unequivocally not true! This whole no snitch culture thing only applies to younger people, and not just young black men. And of course, all black people can either be scary or Urkel. Nothing in between. Minorities are still getting screwed by casting directors.
