The reason why this ended the way it did is because it's significantly easier to keep the status quo, staying with Pucks, rather than having to create many new sets for Matt's new show, and whatever Beverley and Shawn would've ended up doing. It's so much easier to keep them together, financially speaking.
@davideAwesome Quality of the show doesn't matter to the executives. If you can hurt the competition, you do what you can.
@furbul Maybe, but Happy Endings was actually a good show. I miss its nonsense...
@Sandrosaurus But that's what the American networks do. I'm pretty sure "Happy Endings" got second season renewal this way three years ago.
Could have been a great series finale...very funny but the end...come on!
