incredible. just absolutely incredible. a wonderful message about fear, full of hope and softness. danny and clara are so cute there are no words to describe them.
@Sandrosaurus I think I can see why people like it. But for me, it's not really good.
This is the best episode in this season so far. The turns and twists are everywhere! I am however utterly confused with the relationship between Clara and Danny... I hope we see things more clearly very soon. But I loved the ending, it was very Doctor Who, indeed c':
@Artifex There is a rumor flying around that this is Moffat's last season or at least penultimate season. I thought this episode went back in the right direction. It copied a lot of the angels but the feeling was back. Yes the magic was there but It's like they are trying again to become more logical...but they can't...the writers are swimming in quicksand. I loved this one I don't know...but I get the point completely :) This episode reminded me of the last scene from LOST season 3 with Jack yelling: We have to go back!
@heartofacloud Agreed. They are trying very hard to get a good formula going again. Capaldi is a great Doctor, but the show has lost a lot of its magic for me... Or actually, it's all magic now. Nothing makes sense anymore.. The lore was always very loosely based on logic, but now it's not logical at all anymore. I'm losing interest rapidly. I hate that that is happening, because I used to love Doctor Who, but that love is dying very quickly (and I still can't put my finger on why exactly).
I am very confused over the love for this ep… Moffat basically rehashed the Silence/Angels and gave them a new name while making Danny x Clara the Amy x Rory 2.0 without even giving us the time to get remotely invested in the relationship.
I love Capaldi very much and he's the only one who can still give some life to the script but everyone else really shows how dull everything has become by this point, where regardless of how interesting the younger Doctor could've been (ignoring how it works with canon or doesn't) it comes way too late to achieve any emotional impact.
Very good although maybe slightly too complex.
I think I'm done. Moffat and his recycling of storylines, not to mention the god awful attitude the Doctor has towards Clara? What is with all the gross insults? SERIOUSLY. Love Capaldi but I can't keep watching the same story over and over again. Get a new showrunner @ bbc.
