@Sandrosaurus She 'mentally rapes' people, are you kidding? Nobody deserves rape, you should feel completely disgusted for thinking that
Considering that in the books Jaime tends to answer Cersei's less nice commentaries with “I love you too, sweet sister.”… A+ work from D&D, exactly what this show needed, more sex and violence for the sake of shock factor, I'm so happy they're the ones in charge of this and have so clearly read the books =)
@dreamtolove Was it a consensual sex scene in the books? Okay, if so I don't understand this choice even more...apart from everything else, just the fact that he lost HIS RIGHT HAND in order to prevent Brienne from being raped should prevent the writers to make him rape someone (moreover Cersei...!)...
Replacing a consensual sex scene with an (extremely out of character) rape scene is repulsive. D&D love banking on the /unnecessary/ torture of women, don't they?
@Sandrosaurus .... She had it coming? Tell me you're not talking about Cersei. No one deserves to be raped. Absolutely no one.
@colorblind90 I can't say I want to spread hate, but honestly I can't even say I liked that scene. Apart from the event itself, which of course it's repulsing, even if I haven't read the books the whole thing seemed a little bit too much to me, and a little bit OOC if you think of what Jaime has come to be. I mean, I get that the poor guy has been rejected by Cersei for a long time when all he wanted was just to get back to her for the past two seasons, so I understand he's really frustrated, and not only in the sexual part of their relationship. But since he loves her so much (and he has proven that), I can't think of him raping her, and not only raping her but doing so on their own son deathbed. I mean, c'mon: he loved his son too, and he was repulsed by rape for the past 20 episodes or so...it just doesn't fit in with the character in my opinion, when you think of the whole thing.
@Deekay excuse me?
Came to see if people spread the hate about the Jaime scene here as well. Not disappointed.
again, nothing happened ...
@Sandrosaurus they ruined two characters through a disgustingly unnecessary scene. this isnt just a little change its entirely different and not enjoyable
