Northumbria, 1066. The time-travellers are bemused to find high-technology artefacts littering the 11th-century countryside. Is it just a coincidence that one of the key events in English history is only days away? A Time Lord called the Monk is planning to give King Harold a new army to help him win the Battle Of Hastings. However the Doctor puts a stop to the Monk's plans.
