Conviction (2016) - 1x01 Pilot


Hayes Morrison needs to dig herself out of what could be a publicly embarrassing situation. She makes a clandestine deal with her adversary, Conner Wallace, to take on the Conviction Integrity Unit and justice system in order to save face for herself and her family. The first case Hayes pushes her team to consider is that of Odell Dwyer, a handsome former high school football player who has been in prison for eight years for murdering his girlfriend.

Nice... but had its slips like starting way to quick with action, changes in characters... they should make an hour long 1st ep or change Atwell's attitude after 2/3 eps... it was a mess. And also, as person below said... it was a clear procedural episode and I'm not happy about that. I'm sick of procedurals for years now and I love Atwell so I'm sad thinking I would be bored in just couple of eps :(

Bad start. This is the same procedural we've seen a million times. What a waste of Hayley Atwell's talent.
