Following the audition episodes of the spring, the show returns for the semifinals.
Ant and Dec host the show with judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams joined by Ashley Banjo (standing in for Simon Cowell after his recent injury).
Social distancing means that the live audience is replaced by TV links and some of the larger acts have to be pre-recorded. Among the acts returning are the golden buzzer acts - singer Fayth Ifil, comedian and singer Jon Courtney, choir Sign Along With Us, comedian Nabil Abdulrashid, and mother and daughter singing duo, Honey and Sammy.
This is the first of 5 semi-finals, each featuring 8 semi-finalists; with one finalist being chosen by the judges and another by viewer votes.
