George Michael becomes upset when he gets an A- on a test, which leads Lindsay to tell Michael that he's pushing his son too hard. Buster begins to think that Lucille 2 should use medical marijuana to help her vertigo and goes to George Michael to help him track some down. However, Buster's plan soon goes up in smoke. Meanwhile, Lindsay forces Maeby to spend a day with Lucille when she receives poor grades at school.

If I remember correctly, this episode was the one that really won me over. Lots of great lines, like Lindsay saying to Maeby: "Okay, look. I know you got a crocodile in spelling, but this has gone too far." (Actually, that one is a good example of an Arrested Development joke I probably didn't get at the first viewing.) Also, Pier Pressure is filled with flashbacks and they are some of the best! Gob as a Hot Cop, for instance, is comic genius.
