When Sara berated her for being in Ben's house in her wedding dress, Maria promised to get out of their lives once and for all. Sara refused to believe that Maria had Meg's best interests at heart. Sara told Maria how Carmen has been pressuring Meg. When Sara said that Meg doesn't need any additional pressure, Maria surprised her by saying that that was why she refused to move in. Ben asked Meg what Carmen said to her, and Meg replied that Carmen said that Ben and Maria belong together, and that a part of Meg was beginning to believe that she's right.
