Ed gets trapped in a crate while trying to get a birthday present for Miss Malone. Meanwhile in a spoof of It's a Wonderful Life, Miss Malone is depressed over being passed up for a TV movie and being a struggling actress at 25. She meets a guardian angel named Jim who shows her what life would be like if she was never born.
