Homer lets down the town of Springfield by facilitating an environmental disaster. He has a nemesis who's an elected official and is voiced by a comedian who was big in the '70s and '80s. A popular rock band plays themselves stopping in Springfield on tour. Tell me they didn't reuse this entire plot for the movie
