House - 7x23 - Moving On

The team takes on the case of a performance artist, but soon suspect that she is causing her own symptoms as part of a new piece of "art." Meanwhile, House makes a choice that alter his relationship with his closest friends.

I thought it was a decent Finale. The case was boring, but the House story was good.

I actually feel this season was somewhat better than the last one, especially the last few episodes were top notch. Granted, the finale was what you would have expected given the level of, for example the previous one, but all in all it wasn't that bad imo, I enjoyed it, that's what matters.

The ratings fell off this season. Some felt it was because of House and Cuddy together, but most felt the show has simply dropped off.

I fall into the show has dropped off category. They never would have tried something like that in the past. Now they will have to come up with some lame way to get fix it. The show will be stuck in the: "We had bad writing and now we need to use bad writing to get it out, which leads to more bad writing" loop.

To me, the show never progressed the way it originally should have. It started with them crapping on Jennifer Morrison. I read interviews back in the day where said she was supposed to end up with House, yet they screwed that up. Then, they thought it was a good idea to screw over Omar Epps and Jesse Spencer too. Eventually those three had no screen time.

Then they got a new cast, only to drag the old one back. Since then, things have always felt off. House is always good, but all other characters feel off. Now the writing is there too.
